George Simhoni is an internationally recognized commercial photographer and co-founder of Westside Studio located in Toronto, Canada and operating in the European, American and Asian markets. His images have won numerous international competitions such as the Laguna Art Prize (Italy), APA Landscape, Communication Arts (Advertising Photography) and the Graphis top 10 Winningest photographers. He received honorable mentions from PX3 – Prix de la Photographie, Paris, the Photography Master Cup and the Sony World Photography Award. He has been published in Applied Arts, Communication Arts and Canadian Photographer. For his recent project, he returned from Lapland. The purpose was to discover the world of the Sami people in their homeland and in Northern Finland.
