Anthony Macri came to photography from the inspiration of many great documentary photographers. While completing a degree in Political Science and Sociology from McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, Anthony realized that it was photography that best described a society in its time period. Self-taught through the generous assistance of many talented photographers and technicians, Anthony's first exhibit, "After" are images of the post American landscape of Detroit, Michigan. His latest exhibition is documentary in nature and includes portraits from Havana Cuba and minimal landscapes of the Mojave Desert in California.
